Born on 09/24/97 in Chiba, Japan, he has lived in Riccione for more than four years and for this reason he likes to call himself “Giapporiccionese”.
He starts with a pit bike at the age of 3, by the will of his father, who is also a great enthusiast. In 2006 he won the Japanese Pit-bike Championship by winning all the races. He participates in the Japanese Minimoto Championship from 2007 to 2012 with a Honda 50cc, finishing third in the last year.
In 2013, while competing in the Japanese 125cc National Championship, he is chosen as a wildcard in the last two races of the Spanish Championship, in which he will also participate in the following season.
He made his debut in the Moto3 world championship in 2015 with the best result at Silverstone where he reached the top 10. He continues this adventure also in 2016, but it is in 2017 when he joins the SIC58 Squadra Corse, concluding the championship in P14. He repeats the result also the following year.
2019 was the year of his turning point, with his first podium in Jerez, a second place alongside his teammate, and a spectacular weekend in Misano, where he won his first pole and the highest step of the podium. He ends the championship in eighth position.
He rides in Honda again in 2020, with a first half of the championship fighting for the world championship, with three poles in a row and two podiums, in Jerez and Misano. However, the dream of world victory ends with a bad crash during qualifying on the second weekend at Misano, in which he fractures his radius and ulna and is forced to undergo an operation that puts him offside for two stages. 2021 was his last year with SIC58 Squadra Corse; for 2022 and 2023 he rode for Leopard Racing Team. In 2024 he will stay in Moto3 and race with Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP.
