Stefania was born in 1999 and stepped into the world of Curling at the age of 8. After playing from 2009 to 2011 for Curling Club Olimpia, she joined Curling Club Dolomiti.
In 2014/2015 season she won the Gold Medal in the Italian Junior Championship and in 2016 she represented Italy for the first time at the Youth Olympics in Lillehammer.
The following year she participated in the European Championships in St. Gallen, winning the Bronze Medal with the women’s national team. In 2018 she participated in the World Championships for the first time and in 2019 she took part in the Winter Universiade.
In 2021 she joined Fiamme Oro, the sports group of Polizia di Stato, and she won the Gold Medal in the Italian Serie A Championship, obtaining the direct qualification for the Beijing 2022 Olympics with the fifth place at the Mixed Doubles World Championships.
It was precisely at the Beijing Olympics that she won the first Olympic
medal in Italy’s curling history, achieving the Gold in the mixed doubles pair with Amos Mosaner after winning all the mixed doubles matches.
